“Curtain collection Mazzo by Jeroen Vinken combines ravishing beauty with high techniques.”
Striking aspects of the collection are the unusually long repeats and ingenious colour applications.
Every length of curtain cut to hang somewhere will have a different design.
In this way, unique variations of the same design are created to suit any room.

The material is made using the jacquard weaving technique whereby designs are created by the binding system and are therefore woven-in.
It is woven using 3, or maximum 4, different coloured weft threads on mid-grey warp yarn.
Allowing the weft threads to come to the surface, to a greater or lesser degree, creates secondary colours.

The range of colours is not traditional.
There is a series of designs with 5 different colour combinations.
The colour combination of the original 7 designs has the highest intensity and this is reduced through the range: on the one hand to lighter tints, and on the other hand to darker shades; varying lightness.
In the two most extreme cases, the colour intensity is reduced to zero, giving shades of grey.
